Upgrade an earlier 7.3L Ford with the dry-filter Ram-Air intake. Its enclosed housing separates the filter from engine-bay heat while the matched intake path supports the original vehicle layout.

Before ordering

Manufacturer fitment is based on the US vehicle specification. Australian-delivered right-hand-drive engine bays and conversion hardware require an installation-clearance check. Not for 5.4L, 6.8L V10 or a later diesel engine.

Matching filters and optional pre-filter

This complete intake already includes one filter. Optional replacement elements: 42188 (oiled, clean and re-oil as directed), 42188-D (dry, do not oil). Choose one media type; you do not need to buy both. Replacement elements are optional service spares.

Optional matching pre-filter: 42650. Fits either listed filter type. A pre-filter is not a replacement filter or a waterproof cover.

The 42210 complete intake is the alternative filter version for this application; choose one complete intake. Other related upgrades are optional and must match your vehicle year and engine.
