Ford Sterling rear axle cooling upgrade
Banks 19252 is a satin black and machined Ram-Air differential cover kit for applicable 1985-2024 Ford F250 and F350 single-rear-wheel trucks with a Sterling 10.25 or 10.5 inch, 12-bolt rear axle.
The finned aluminium design supports cooling and internal oil movement while retaining the manufacturer-specified fluid fill quantity. A sight glass, magnetic drain plug, angled fill port, O-ring seal and installation hardware simplify servicing.
Confirm the axle before ordering
- Sterling 10.25/10.5, 12-bolt rear axle only; not Dana M275.
- Does not fit a Super Duty with a rear sway bar.
- Does not fit F350 dual-rear-wheel models.
- Not for the 2023-on High Output configuration.
Year and badge alone do not establish fitment. Check the factory axle, bolt pattern, suspension and cover clearance. For converted vehicles, confirm any local modifications.
Because this cover spans many petrol and diesel generations, engine-specific upgrades should be selected only after the truck year and engine have been identified.
